If you were a witness to murder--or to any crime--do you have a moral obligation to report what you saw to the police? Do you have any obligation to do so in person, offering testimony in court, if failing to do so would likely set the offender free?
Are you ever morally required to endanger your own life, and the lives of your family members, in order to better secure the safety of the greater community?
